Sonozaire 115A
Restoration pros, dry cleaners, waste management operators, cleaning management companies, and hotel/motel properties turn to the Sonozaire Model 115A when odors need to actually disappear — not just get covered up. The unit generates ozone (O₃) on-site through corona discharge, pulling oxygen from the surrounding air and converting it into a powerful oxidizer that breaks odor molecules down at the source, with no chemicals and no masking fragrance. It's built for larger rooms, conference spaces, small compactors, and single-room restoration jobs that call for real ozone output and airflow.
Main Applications for the Sonozaire Model 115A
- Fire/Smoke/Water Restoration: 2,500 – 15,000 cubic feet (70 – 425 cubic meters)
- Waste Compactors & Containers: 4 – 8 cubic yards (3 – 6 cubic meters)
- Garbage Rooms: 405 – 3,240 cubic feet (11 – 92 cubic meters)
- Dry Cleaning Odor Treatment Chambers: up to 1,700 cubic feet (48 cubic meters)
Key Features of the Sonozaire Odor Neautralizer 115A
- Removes odors — Smoke, mold/mildew, garbage/fermentation odors, pet odors, urine, sewage gas, tobacco, chemicals, and industrial process odors.
- Chemical-free odor destruction — Ozone is generated electrically from ambient air, requiring no chemicals or masking fragrances.
- Strong ozone output for larger jobs — A single glass/electrode ozone-generating cell delivers enough ozone output and airflow to handle fire and smoke damage restoration jobs, small waste compactors, and garbage collection rooms.
-
Two treatment modes for restoration flexibility
- Shock treatment mode – sealed room at maximum output for rapid, high-concentration treatment.
- Soak treatment mode – lower ozone levels distributed through HVAC over a longer period.
- Variable ozone output control — Dial ozone production up or down on the side-mounted control knob to match the odor load.
- Optional 12-hour timer with continuous-run/hold-on feature — Timer option automatically shuts the unit off after a set duration; hold-on feature allows continuous operation for larger odor loads.
- No chemical residue — Ozone naturally reverts to oxygen after treatment, leaving no chemical residue in the treated space.
- 56 CFM blower with washable air filter — Internal blower draws fresh air through a cleanable filter, maintaining consistent ozone output; filter is washable and re-installable.
- CSA Certified — Standard 115V models are certified under CSA file 151665 and LR 30836.

Safety
For use in unoccupied areas only. The Sonozaire Model 115A produces ozone levels that exceed safe limits for occupied spaces. Areas being treated must be vacated during operation, and re-entry should be delayed until ozone has reverted back to oxygen — typically 90 minutes to 2 hours after the unit shuts off.
Never use near flammable gases or liquids. Flammable vapors drawn into the unit's air intake or electrical components can ignite, creating a fire or explosion risk.
Post warning signage. Any room or area being treated should have a visible notice indicating ozone treatment is in progress and that the space must not be entered.
Protect sensitive materials before treatment. Ozone will degrade natural rubber (latex) over time. Remove or cover rubber items, pets, fish tanks, live plants, and irreplaceable items such as paintings before running a treatment cycle.
Not for use in occupied spaces, hospitals, or sick rooms. This unit is an industrial-strength ozone generator and is not designed or approved for continuous use around people, patients, or animals without additional engineering controls (such as ozone sensors) to limit exposure to regulatory levels.
Follow exposure limits. OSHA permits a maximum of 0.1 ppm ozone averaged over an 8-hour period; the FDA limit for continuously occupied spaces is 0.05 ppm. Levels above 5 ppm are considered immediately dangerous to life and health.
Maintain proper electrical grounding. Always use a grounded, three-prong outlet. Never cut or remove the ground prong from the power cord.
